Silver Grey Granite Processing Techniques
The Silver Grey Granite is a medium to fine grained igneous rock, with uniform silver-gray coloration. Its neutral and homogeneous appearance makes it very versatile in contemporary architectural projects.

Processing and Cutting
- Homogeneous and stable material, easy to saw and polish.
- High performance diamond blades are recommended for granite (e.g.: Disc 350 mm OS–31SS or Diapar DP-1015).
- Allows for cutting and framing without the risk of excessive chipping.
Sealing
Despite low absorption, the use of waterproofing agents is recommended for greater aesthetic protection against stains and pollution.

Procedure:
- Apply with a brush/roller to a clean, dry surface.
- For floors and facades, also apply to the sides before laying.

- Use epoxy/polyester glues specific for granite (Tenax, Bellinzoni, Argacon).
- Pigment the glue in gray when necessary, to maintain color uniformity.
INSTALLATION
- Countertops: support every 60 cm on metal corners, gluing with white or gray PU40.
- Indoor/Outdoor Floors: lay with white or gray ACIII adhesive mortar.
- Flexible grout and application of water repellent after the mortar has cured.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Daily cleaning: water + neutral detergent.
- Avoid: chlorine, acid descaling agents and abrasive products.
